  This is the second issue of Pakistan Journal of Computer and Information Systems (PJCIS) published by Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC). Pakistan Journal of Computer and Information Systems is a peer reviewed journal of Computer Science and Engineering. It is an open access online journal published twice a year. The mission of the journal is to provide a forum for researchers to debate and discuss interdisciplinary issues in Computer Science, Computer System Engineering and Information Systems.   Pakistan Journal of Computer and Information Systems, a bi-annual publication of Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC), Pakistan Science Foundation is aimed at providing a platform
  for researchers and professionals of Computer Science & Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), Library & Information Science and Information Systems for sharing and disseminating their research findings and to publish their original and cutting edge research. This is a peer reviewed open access journal intended to publish high quality papers on theoretical development as well as practical applications in all fields of Computer Science and Engineering, ICT and Information Science. The journal also aims to publish new attempts on emerging topics /areas, reviews and short
  communications. The scope encompasses research areas dealing with all aspects of computing and networking hardware, numerical analysis and mathematics, software programming, databases, solid and geometric modeling, computational geometry, reverse engineering, virtual environments and hepatics, tolerance modeling and computational metrology, rapid prototyping, internet-aided design, information models, use of information and communication technologies for managing information, study of information systems, information processing, storage and retrieval, management information systems etc. Review articles are also published in the journal.
